Reverse Engineer Object - Progress 1
First Half:
Orthographic Sketch
I started off simply making a blueprint/ on paper measurement and rough drawings orthographic of the object. This helped as reference and made it easier to visualize. Although redundant I measured again corroborating with my orthographic to confirm measurements, as with such a small object the values were very small and I would get very different values based purely on how tight the calipers measured.
In Progress Screenshots
I made sure to take screengrabs of each section in-progress to showcase my process.
Up until this next portion it was goin smoothly and then it was this piece that was causing me so much trouble. Getting a proper fillet along the edges where the metal folds over top of itself proved to be just absolutely horrible and consistently I had to go back an double check scale as things got moved around. In retrospect I should have moved on and came back to it with a fresh perspective.
